On August 15, 2025, during the monthly Zone II meeting held in Rushville, Hancock County Clerk and Recorder Holly A. Wilde-Tillman was recognized with the 2025 IACCR Zone II County Clerk and Recorder of the Year award.
This prestigious honor was presented by Fulton County Clerk and Recorder Patrick O’Brien, following a vote by Zone II members representing counties across the region.
Participating counties included Adams, Brown, Calhoun, Cass, Ford, Fulton, Greene, Henderson, Jersey, Knox, Macoupin, Madison, Mason, McDonough, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, Peoria, Pike, Sangamon, Schuyler, Scott, Tazewell, and Warren, along with representatives from the Peoria and Bloomington election commissions.
Wilde-Tillman expressed her gratitude upon receiving!the award, stating: “I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from my peers. The knowledge, wisdom, and guidance I gain from my fellow county clerks and recorders make me better at serving Hancock County.
This award reflects not only my work but the collaborative efforts of everyone across our region.”
The recognition highlights Wilde-Tillman’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving Hancock County residents.
Wilde-Tillman will now represent Zone II at the upcoming Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders (IACCR) Annual Conference in Springfield, scheduled for September 2025.
During the conference, one overall winner from among the four zone honorees will be selected as the IACCR County Clerk and Recorder of the Year.
