Raritan Firemen Shatter Record for Money Raised for Wounded Warriors

On June 14th, Raritan Fire Department’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting the Wounded Warriors Family Support at Twin Oaks golf course in Blandinsville.

The Raritan Fire Department has raised $39,650 in the previous five tournaments for WWFS. This year we raised $12,600 for WWFS which brings the total to $52,250.

Dustin Pearson and his spouse Jen came back again this year for this event bringing the beautiful WWFS Ford Bronco. Dustin is a representative for WWFS. He and Jen reside in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Raritan Fire appreciates our hole sponsors, all donors, 80 golfers (which is 20 teams), several family farms, and the great communities in our area. We certainly could not have raised this amount for a very worthy cause withoutIall of you! Co-chairman for the event are Earl Waller and Harry Underwood.

Winners were:

All teams donated their winnings back to WWFS.

We are grateful for our tournament sponsors. As you can see most are small businesses, family farms, and individuals. Please support all local businesses.
