Meet your neighbor Erica Pence. Erica enjoyed growing up in La Harpe.

As a child she loved riding her bike over to friends houses and going to the pool and parks. Erica graduated from Illini West High School in 2010.

She attended Southeastern Community College for two years. Erica works in Environmental Health and she is the Public Health Emergency Preparedness coordinator for Henderson County.

Erica lives on a farm with her husband Drew and their four year old son, Will. Erica stated that motherhood has been a very humbling experience.

When asked what advice she had for other parents she shared that people should not hesitate to reach out to family and friends to ask those, “annoying,” questions.

Erica, Drew and Will love to garden, hunt, hike their property and take care of their animals.
