Stronghurst Booster Club Met

At the Stronghurst Booster Club meeting held on April 8th, the members present discussed the next Community Potluck scheduled for Friday, April 26th at the Stronghurst Legion at 5:30 p.m.

The club will supply drinks and table service. Bring you favorite dish to share and bring a friend. The community is invited

• The March minutes were reviewed individually and approved.
• The treasurer’s report was reviewed by Shelly and approved.
• Fundraiser for Legion is all set to begin. Be on the lookout for order forms!
• Doc Pogue Run is set for May 25th, the run will begin at the Village Park. Be on the lookout for registration and sponsorship opportunities. This year will have a theme “dress up and have fun.” Kid run will be after the 5K. The run begins at 8 am. Help is needed the day of the run, If you are able to help please reach out to Sara or Melinda! The Lions Club will host a breakfast that morning at the Stronghurst American Legion.

New Business:

• Discussion took place regarding recruiting new businesses to Stronghurst. There is a growing concern and members will continue to discuss this matter.

Meeting adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
