Valerie Adams, Administrator HCRC, INC
This year at Thanksgiving, Henderson County Retirement Center, Inc. has been blessed with a large grant from the Community Health Foundation of Warren and Henderson Counties (CHFWHC).
The Foundation has generously supported HCRC throughout the years with many different projects. Earlier this year they provided us with a new lift van to transport our residents.
Last week Oak Lane Nursing & Rehab received $100,000 check for our nursing home kitchen to be remodeled and upgraded.
We are so very thankful for the Foundation’s generosity and continued support of our community.
CHFWHC was established in 2006 with the proceeds of the sale of the Community Medical Center of Monmouth, Illinois.
The Foundation’s all volunteer Board manages assets of approximately $16 million.
In addition to its mission to support and sponsor local health care programs, the Foundation exists to insure the continuation of ongoing local hospital services.
The CEO of OSF Holy Family Medical Center in Monmouth, Illinois serves in an advisory capacity.
Board Chair Dorothy Ricketts announced that HCRC was awarded the grant just last week.
We appreciate everything the Foundation does for our local community!
