Drew Postle and Laura Wilhite took The Quill along to the Motor Mill in Elkader, Iowa. Elkader is nestled in a northeastern Iowa valley.
Its river, historic bridges and stone churches make it look like a town straight out of a Hallmark movie.
Drew and Laura took in the sites and did a little shopping at the Turkey River Mall.
The mall is located in a historic 3 story hotel and has 40 rooms full of antiques.
Before leaving Elkader they toured the Motor Mill and were impressed by the restoration efforts that have been made.
