Meet your neighbor Brandon Carl. Brandon grew up in Carthage and moved to West Point during high school. He is a 2014 graduate of Southeastern High School.
Coming from a blended family with five sisters, Brandon learned early on the value of relationships and communication.
After high school, he attended John Wood Community College, where he quickly became involved in student life and leadership. His college years led him to Kirksville, Missouri, where he completed his education and landed a full-time position with US Cellular where he still works today.
In 2023, life took an exciting turn when Brandon met his fiancée, Julie, through Twitch, a live-streaming website. They’ve been together since February of that year and are now planning a future together, including hopes of starting a family in the coming years. For now, their home includes a couple of cats — their “practice kids,” as Brandon jokingly refers to them.
Brandon and Julie recently moved back to the area, drawn by a desire to be closer to family. For Brandon, the return has been grounding. “I’ve come to believe there is nothing more important than family,” he shared.
They’ve become active attendees at The Crossing Church and are eager to become more involved in their local community.
Brandon enjoys reading, tackling DIY projects around the house, and staying connected with friends and family. Though his Twitch channel is currently on pause, he hopes to return to that platform soon.
