Roseville Bowling Alley gets Much Needed Upgrades

Chuck Steck and his son Charlie of Geneva have been hard at work the last 16 months transforming the Roseville bowling alley.

“We upgraded everything. The (United States Bowling Council) came out to certify us and most bowling alleys (grade out) between 89 and 90 out of 100. We were 94.7,” said Chuck.

Other upgrades to the bowling alley include electronic scoring and a new state-of-the-art lane oiler which has helped many bowlers at league night see their averages go up.

The bowling alley wasn’t the only upgrades that the Stecks made.

They made updates to the kitchen for their full-service diner.

The space also offers an event room that seats up to 50 people that is perfect for all kinds of celebrations.

So how did the Stecks end up with a bowling alley in rural Warren County? Why did he pick Roseville?

“God brought me here,” said Chuck. “Why else would I travel 200 miles from home to a town I never heard of to do this?

Chuck went on to explain, “My son is a gifted bowler, and he always wanted to run a bowling alley, and this presented a good opportunity to buy one.”

The Revolution Bowl is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, when it serves breakfast all day.

For a limited time, you can clip the Revolution Bowl ad on page 15 and receive 10% off your meal! I would recommend the hand-tossed pizza.
