Biggsville Sets “Junk Day”

At the Village of Biggsville board meeting held on March 5th, it was announced that Junk Day is June 1st.

They will be sending out a flyer to let everyone know what they will allow and what cannot be brought.

Streets/Water

The Village needs to purchase water main valves and valve covers, which need to be 6” by 4” and 20 feet long.

The library has had water in the parking lot. Mike West dug out the culverts. The Henderson County Highway Department will come and look at it to see what needs to be done.

Kevin Cooper is in the process of getting the funds to do the roads and to dig the ditches in Hillcrest.

Parks/Recreation

Kathy Curtiss made a motion to move forward purchasing the scoreboard for Linda Field. Casey Goff 2nd, motion carried.

Old Business

Jamie McCabe is looking into getting wiring to have plug-ins under the new cabinets in the community building.
