Biggsville Board Installs New Pump

At the June 4th meeting of the Village of Biggsville Zach Spiker reported that the new pump had been installed at the East Main lift station.

Zach said the MVP will let them know if they need a new pump at Arthur Street or if they can repair the old one and also let them know what horsepower is on the pump.

Jaegar stated the aeration blower is acting up at the lagoon and they will see if it is something that can be taken care of internally or if a new one is needed.

The new playground equipment needs to be painted. A couple of people who have the knowledge of how to put the equipment together will be contacted to see if they would be willing to help.

Eric is going to get paint for the concession stand. Work will begin in the middle of June for these projects.

It was decided the invoice for allowing Ameren to put in new lights in the community building is not feasible currently so they will continue to purchase two lights a month until all are replaced.

A motion was approved on an amendment to the sewer ordinance to include the price.

A motion to allow the office to pay the Frontier invoice when it comes in was passed.

The motion to approve the May minutes, expenses and treasurer’s report was approved.
