Meet Your Neighbor Susan Postle. Susan lives in Carthage.
Susan has been a full time rural carrier for USPS in Lomax and Carman for the past 10 years. She grew up in Carman, IL. Susan is the daughter of Gerald and Rosie Postle.
She has two brothers Scott and Randy and two sisters Lisa and Theresa. She graduated from Southern High School in 1989.
Susan has four children Tyler, Peyton, Spencer and Taylor. Tyler lives in Dallas City with his wife Lexi and their daughter Rory.
He is a regional environmental health and safety manager for Novolex. Peyton is a clerk at the Niota Post Office. Spencer is a clerk at the Post Office in Lomax.
Taylor is going to be a Junior at Illini West this fall. Taylor enjoys reading and loves being an aunt. Susan’s favorite memory with her kids was when they went to Walt Disney World and took her mom with them.
She stated, “we have a lot of great memories with my whole family like every Christmas Eve we get together and it’s a tradition to play bingo and also we have a fish fry and fireworks every year for the 4th of July!
I have such an amazing family and I wouldn’t know what I would without all of them!” Susan loves being a Grandma to her granddaughter Rory.
She stated that being a Grandma is the best feeling in the world. When asked if she had advice for parents with young children she said, “just enjoy them and make some of your own family traditions.
Let them know everyday how much you love them”. Susan loves to read, fish, spend time with loved ones and babysit her granddaughter.
