The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
As we step into 2025, the Hancock County Circuit Clerk’s Office is embracing change and progress. The beginning of the year is always a dynamic period, marked by new judicial assignments. This year, we are thrilled to welcome a new associate judge to our team. Over the coming weeks, our office will focus on assisting the judge in settling in and ensuring that we are well-acquainted with their preferences for court proceedings. This transition promises a fresh perspective and renewed energy in the courtroom.
A major milestone for our office occurred on January 3, 2025, as we transitioned to Automated Disposition Reporting (ADR). This system enables timely and accurate reporting of dispositions to the Secretary of State and the Bureau of Identification. By minimizing human error, ADR not only enhances efficiency but also strengthens the reliability of our reporting processes. This advancement is a significant step forward in our mission to provide excellent service and maintain the integrity of judicial records.
Looking ahead, we are eagerly anticipating the installation of new courtroom equipment by the end of January. This upgrade complements our existing NOMAD system and was made possible through last year’s Court Modernization Grant. The enhanced equipment will support a more streamlined and technologically advanced court environment, benefiting all who rely on our facilities.
Finally, we are patiently awaiting news on the approval of our latest grant request. If successful, this funding will enable further improvements and innovations in our operations. As always, we remain committed to pursuing opportunities that enhance our services and uphold the standards of justice for Hancock County.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides in 2025. Thank you for your continued support!
