Biggsville Seeks to Improve Park

At the meeting of the Village of Biggsville on February 5th, it was reported the old concession stand needs to be painted.

It was suggested that they contact West Central School and see if someone in their art class would like to put a drawing on after its painted. Eric will contact the school.

Jamie will get a quote on a new scoreboard for Lindo Field.

They aim to install the playground equipment this summer. Chris will check and see if he can get some material to fix the bleachers.

The meeting was opened by Mayor Eric Craig at 6 p.m with the Pledge of Allegiance.

The members approved the January minutes, invoices, and treasurer’s report.

It was reported the engineer is writing up a proposal to surface half the streets in Biggsville this year. They will replace two valves before the work on the roads can begin.

Chris made a motion to have Kevin Shauman fix the drainage problem on Arthur Street and in front of the post office, Jamie seconded, motion carried.

Kathy made a motion to have Steve Earp redo the cabinets and counters in the Biggsville Community Building, Chris 2nd, motion carried.

The meeting adjourned at 7:23 p.m.
