The Tri-County Cattlemen’s Association held their annual Banquet last Saturday at the Barn at Fairview Acres in Biggsville.
The keynote speaker at this years banquet was Rob Sharkey, better known by his digital alias, The Shark Farmer. Rob is an Illinois grain farmer who has gained fame by hosting podcasts, radio shows, and multiple TV programs on RFD-TV and PBS.
Attendees also enjoyed music by The Stone Cold Cowboys. A band from Peoria that plays classic country hits.
The accompanying silent auction raised $13,000 for scholarships and beef promotion in the tri-county area.
