Laura Wilhite, The Quill
Meet your neighbor Rebekah Baker. Rebekah grew up in a small town called Rural Retreat in southwestern Virginia.
She is the second oldest out of eight siblings. She attended public school until the end of seventh grade and was homeschooled until graduation in 2020.
After high school she worked for her family’s house cleaning business. She also worked at a Mennonite store as a kitchen manager.
She has been married to her husband for almost three years. They have one son that just turned two in May. His name is Jedidiah and he loves books, bubbles, animals and water.
As a family they enjoy going to different events or the local gas station to get ice cream. Rebekah is trying to start her own business making homemade soaps and candles. It is a Christian based business.
She became a part of Plymouth Circle Community Center this past July and she also goes to local farmers markets and events. Rebekah loves to spend time with her family, reading God’s Word, playing music and making soaps and candles.
Rebekah and her family moved to Plymouth, IL last September from the state of VA. Her parents felt like they were called here for a purpose so she and her husband followed them!
