The Village of Pontoosuc came together to honor a remarkable individual, 'Mayor Bob' Durand, for his 36 years of dedicated service to the community.

The celebration, held at the Open House event, drew a large crowd of family, friends, and village residents who gathered to express their gratitude and appreciation.

During the event, Mayor Bob was presented with a beautifully engraved plaque by Treasurer and Clerk Terri Lynn Olson, recognizing his tireless efforts, unwavering commitment, and selfless service to the village.

The plaque serves as a token of appreciation for his leadership and vision, which have significantly impacted the community.

One notable achievement highlighted during the celebration was the construction of a new bridge, which will connect residents, schools, and businesses for generations to come.

Mayor Bob's leadership during challenging times, including the record-breaking floods, has been instrumental in guiding the community through difficult periods.

The event concluded with wonderful fellowship and delicious cake, as the community came together to celebrate Mayor Bob's remarkable service.
