Rachel Mast Steps Down As States Attorney; Sworn in as Associate Judge

Henderson County State's Attorney Rachel B. Mast was sworn in as an Associate Judge on August 16, 2024. This created a vacancy in office that was filled by the Henderson County Board. Susan M. Maxwell-Schneider was appointed as Henderson County State's Attorney to fill the remainder of Rachel B. Mast term in office. Susan M. Maxwell-Schneider was also slated by the Henderson County Republican Central Committee. She will be on the ballot for the November 5, 2024 election for a four-year term.
