The Illini West Charger boys golf team is headed to State. They are currently ranked 2nd in the Class 1A Conference West Central with a score of 328.
Quincy Notre Dame won the Class 1A boys golf sectional. They had a low score of 296.
Nolan Murphy let Illini West’s team with a 78. Rounding out the Chargers top finishers.
Individual players are Freshman Nolan Murphy-seed 1-78, Senior Nick Bruns-seed 2-83, Freshman Bryson Grotts-seed 3-83, Junior Brennan Grotts seed 4-84, Freshman Bryton Gavillet -seed 5-89, Junior Wesley Robertson-seed 6-84.
State is October 18-19 at Bloomington.
