La Harpe City Council Hears from LRS Disposal

by Michael Rodeffer, Quill Reporter

The LRS Disposal Representatives were at the meeting to discuss ways to improve their garbage pickup. They explained they had some labor issues with some employees and apologize for past issues with picking up garbage.

The men expressed their desire to improve their service and thought the employee they had now was doing a better job. The men thanked the Council for their patience.

The men noted their trucks were now able to pick up the garbage cans without the driver getting out of their truck.

The men also noted all garbage should be bagged, as loose papers and trash can blow out when cans are dumped.

The Council thanked the men for coming and addressing past issues and their willingness to improve their service.

The La Harpe City Council met on September 23rd at the La Harpe City hall.
