The West Central HS Varsity Heat Football team squelched the West Prairie Cyclones Friday, September 27th at Sciota, 40-32.
Kyle Lafary had a big night for the Heat with 23 rushes for 238 yards with 2 rushing touch downs and grabbed an interception on defense.
Gage Stimpson also had 2 touch downs on the ground and also snatched the Cyclones' ball for an interception on defense.
Alex McGraw chocked up 9 carries for 68 yards and scored a touch down and was involved in 10 tackles for The Heat.
Cooper Gibb ran for 43 yards on 9 rushes. Jordan Kane was involved in 11 tackles, contributing to the win.
West Central Varsity football are now 5-0 with their next action at their first home game for their Homecoming celebraton.
The game is sure to draw a crowd this Friday, October 4th against the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans; with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
