U.S. Veteran Bob Burr (right) of Lomax, presents a $500 check to La Harpe American Legion Post #301 Commander Harry Fark (left) on behalf of "The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association of Northwestern Illinois." The generous gift goes into the La Harpe American Legion Memorial Fund – Post #301. Rod Burr presented the check on Sunday, May 19th in front of the newly installed La Harpe Veterans Memorial tablets which are to be dedicated this Monday, May 26, 10:00 a.m., during the La Harpe Memorial Day service at the La Harpe City Park or at the La Harpe Communitiy Building in case of rain.
