Stronghurst Booster Club Forms Committees

At the Stronghurst Booster Club meeting held on March 11th, the group decided, as likeprevious years the Booster Club will be forming committees.

If you wish to be on a committee please reach out to Amanda.

A fundraiser for the American Legion will begin by selling star shaped, wooden, engraved, Christmas ornaments with veteran’s details. 100% of the profits will go back to the Legion. Ornaments will cost $10. Please be on the lookout for more information and how to order!

New Business:

Park/flowers: A motion to approve a budget of $1000 for purchase of flowers, potting soil, dirt, fertilizer, and any other items needed to park improvement, was approved.

The Doc Pogue Run is set for May 25th 2024, run will begin at the village park. Be on the lookout for registration and sponsorship opportunities.

Farmers Market dates have been approved by the village, starting May 20th, every other Monday and ending on September 9th. 5-7 p.m. on Broadway Street.

A discussion took place about the farmers markets and recruiting entertainment.

ROE Summerfest booth at the Henderson County Fair on Family night: Discussion took place and will table the discussion until the next meeting.
