Four La Harpe Veterans were honored as members of The Great River Honor Flight, mission #70 on May 30, 2024.
Those honored were Lindsay Shoemaker (U.S. Marines), John Lee (U.S. Army), Rod Burr (U.S. Navy), Adam Housewright (U.S. Army).
Adam Housewright also served as guardian for the group.
The men thoroughly enjoyed the trip, a very eventful experience, something they say a veteran will never forget.
Thank you veterans for your service and for doing whatever you were asked, to protect our freedoms.
