Christian Singer/Songwriter Jason Gray at the Union Church of La Harpe

Christian Recording artist and SXM radio host ("Acoustic Storytime with Jason Gray") was in concert at the Union Church last Saturday night at 6:30. Gray sang songs and told stories and reflected on what it meant to follow the Savior. His concert was about two hours long.

This was Gray's 9th visit to the church. At the beginning of the year Pastor Bruce Goettsche announced he was going to retire after this year at the end of his 43rd year. When asked if there was anything special he would really like to do he said he would like to bring back Jason Gray. The two had developed a strong friendship over the years.

Gray returned to the Union Church on Sunday morning June 30th. The church had a combined 5th Sunday service that went from 9:00-10:30, In the first 30 minutes Bruce preached his message, and during the last hour had Jason Gray, Pastor Rick Goettsche and Pastor Bruce were on the platform sharing stories from over the years.

Jason told some of the stories behind his songs and even shared a couple of songs he had been working on.

Rick and Bruce shared some of their funny memories of Jason's previous concerts. The morning was filled with laughter, celebration, insight and just a genuinely beautiful time.
