The Quill traveled to Asheville, North Carolina on December 12, 2023 to celebrate the important landmark occasion of the 100th Birthday Celebration of Eleanor LaForge Crum on 9-17-23!!
Eleanor was married to William N Crum from Disco, and Bill was the son of Jean and James Crum, their youngest son of 9 children. Bill passed away in the Fall of 2018.
Eleanor is holding The Quill and her son Robert and wife Gabbi are pictured on the right, and her daughter Jane on the left along with the rest, all nieces and nephews and a few spouses that made the trip from all over to celebrate! There are 22 surviving first cousins and 10 of them made it to this most amazing and rare celebration. When you take a trip, be sure to take “The Quill” along and have your picture taken with it and send it to us. Let's see where all “The Quill” can travel.
