In August, "The Quill" traveled to the wedding of Katelyn Tincher and James Smith in Ringle, Wisconsin where many cousins and aunts traveled from Iowa and Illinois, and La Harpe, Carthage, and the surrounding area, to witness the joyous occasion. The bride Katelyn is the great great granddaughter of the late Evelyn (Rodeffer) Carter who grew up in the La Harpe/Durham area and then later settled in West Burlington, IA. The picture was taken at the home of Katelyn's parents, Patrick and Brenda (Smith) Tincher in Ringle, WI. Holding "The Quill" is a cousin Dalinda Rich Lucas from Sutter and Brenda's sister Angela Snyder of Ankeny, Iowa.
