Amanda Kane Seeks Spot on Republican ballot for Henderson County Coroner

Amanda Kane of Stronghurst is running on the Republican ballot in the March Primary Election for the position of Henderson County Coroner.

Amanda said, "I have 15 plus years experience in the medical field, including time spent volunteering on the Henderson County's ambulance service and as a Henderson County Deputy Coroner under Kris Beals.

Amanda has lived in Henderson County for over 20 years with her husband Brian. They have two children attending school in the West Central School District.

She is the West Central girls cheerleading coach, an active member of the WCAA and the West Central FFA Alumni.

Amanda also served on the Stronghurst Village board for three terms, and while there, served on the police committee. She served as its chairperson her last term on the borad.

Amanda said, of her 15 plus years of EMS experience, "I have had the opportunity to work with several different county coroners and law enforcement agencies. As a paramedic, I have responded to numerous calls, including homicides, suicide, and natural death where it is my responsibility to determine whether a death has occurred or if I should perform life saving measures. "

"I love living in this community, giving back to this community, and would appreciate the opportunity to serve you as your next Henderson County Coroner," Amanda said.

"The Primary Election will be held in Illinois on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, and I would appreciate your vote and your support to become your Coroner," she said.
