Mike talked to IDO and they will take care of it. There are two daycare centers on Blane Street. They would like to have a children at play sign put up. Mike will put one up at each end of Blane Street.

Zoning – Three new zoning permits have been issued.

Public Relations – There are several community members that would like to have a weekend that we go around and clean up around town and plant flowers. We will look at it being a yearly project that is done right before the cleanup day. Several in town would like to have an ordinance to allow side by side vehicle in the community. It will be looked into further and see what our options are.

Parks – We are getting new flags for the Post Office and all the Parks. Flag poles will be put up where needed. We need to take the shelter house at Lindo Field down.

Old Business – Three trees have been planted at Lindo Field with memorial money in memory of Karen Rima and Dr. Lindo. They are flowering trees and will be beautiful in the spring. Please enjoy the changes with the seasons. There is a massive limb down on Adams Street. Jamie stated we need to contact Ameren before we remove it. The Village Shop has been purchased. The non-potable water sign for the old pump is about complete. We need to get the light on the water tower fixed. Mike will call Ross Bigger to see when he can get the work at the ballpark and the water tower complete.

New Business – The Railroad Bridge has to be deemed no longer a “village street” according to the railroad. There will have to be an ordinance to vacate the property. Mike and Eric have discussed knocking down some of the brush that isn’t currently being mowed. We need some volunteers to help.
