The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
Dear Editor:
He wandered the town every day and oft time we passed him on the street taking time saying “Hello” but rarely stopping to chat or inquire about his health. We hurried on our way to all the important obligations we thought we had.
Don’t get me wrong; many have tried to help him in many ways, but he refused. When he became homeless, one couple saw a need, provided shelter and made sure he had something to eat. I’m sure they did many other things for him, and for that reason they should be recognized for the Good Samaritans that they are.
Tom and Jean Crotts succeeded where others failed. Thank you.
