Quigley Brings Home Trophies

On June 9, 10, and 11th, Jacob Quigley of Stronghurst, played in the National Junior Dart Championship.  The tournament was held at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI.

Quigley threw against players from all over the country who won qualifying events and were under the age of 20.  

Quigley placed second in single’s cricket by taking the eventual champion to a very close third game. Quigley won the singles 501 championship that same day.   

On Saturday June 10th, Quigley was joined by his partner, Gage Smith, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Quigley and Smith won the doubles cricket championship.   

On Sunday June 11th, Quigley and Smith won the 501 Championship.

Quigley closed out the Junior National Dart Association Championship with 3 first place finishes and 1 second place.

Quigley brought home a car load of trophies, medals, and quite a bit of money. Great job Jacob!

Jacob was coached by Travis Stratton from Burlington, IA, and he was sponsored by The Feedlot in Stronghurst. Jacob said he appreciates Jim and Sara Brown and Travis and Morgan for all of their support.
