Complaints Heard of 4-Wheelers

Village of Biggsville

Regular Meeting Feb. 1st

At the Village of Biggsville’s regular meeting, it was reported that trustees have had some complaints about 4-wheelers around town and at the ball park.

The council said the police have been contacted and if it continues, the village is to call the police.

The meeting was called to order on Wednesday, February 1, at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Brian Sterett with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Street/Water

Mike has contacted Zack about the water valves. He will be here in April or May to put one in. He will only be able to do one a day. We will try and get two put in this year.

Old Business

Brian has not received any answers back from banks about coming to Biggsville. We will have to call someone to put in some black iron pipe for the new stove. Mike talked to Ross Bigger about the light on top of the water tower. He will look into it.

New Business –

Mississippi Valley Pump is going to look at our pump at the pump station to see if it needs replaced. The sledge at the Lagoon needs to be cleaned out. This needs done every 8 to 10 years. Marilyn has a Resolution for Maintenance that needs to be sent to the government to approve using motor fuel funds. The board approved it.

Members presen were: Eric Craig, Kathie Curtiss, Tammy Slater and Nanci Sterett. Casey Goff and Becky Price were absent. Other present: Brian Sterett, Mayor; Judy L. Gravgaard, Clerk; Marilyn Simmons, Treasurer and Mike West, Maintenance.

Tammy made a motion to accept the invoices, minutes and treasure report. Eric 2nd motion carried.
