The Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Stronghurst park Friday evening found the weather "a bit frightful," but Booster Club members reported that the music, cocoa, cookies and lights increased the Christmas spirit!
"We really appreciated Vince Whiteman for the music, and Deb Gillam for the reading of the Christmas story, and the Booster Club volunteers and the Village of Stronghurst for all their hard work preparing for this event and taking part on a cold rainy evening.
And everyone appreciated Jim Blender for his vision and hard work to make this event a success!
Reminder that the parade is rescheduled for this Friday Dec 8th at 6 pm!
