Eight Veterans Receive Quilts of Valor

On July 25, 2023, eight (8) United States Veterans were honored by the Hancock-Henderson Quilts of Valor organization at the Henderson County Health Department in Gladstone.

Those that were honored, with a quilt, were: Donnie Olson, Army and daughter, Jennie Olson, Army; Mike Anderson, Navy; Mike Hopkins, Army; David Elledge, Army; Joe Bigger, Army, served in Vietnam; Robert Scott, Army; Don Boyer, Army

The Hancock-Henderson Quilts of Valor meet through-out the year to make quilts for presentation to honor our servicemen and women.

They also have several ladies that sew quilts for the veterans and donate them for the veterans.

This is a group effort and it is a joy to them to work together to honor our veterans.
