The La Harpe Lions did not meet in July because of the wind storm!
The food from the 4th of July was given away, with some choosing to make a freewill donation.
At their August 7th meeting, Charles White, who joined the club in October 1972, was presented with his 50 year membership pin. The club was in its second year when Chuck joined. He has slowed down some, but has spent many hours working for the benefit of the La Harpe community.
Plans are underway for the Fall Pancake Breakfast to be held September 9th and 10th a the La Harpe Club House. It seems like summer has gone fast!
