On September 3rd over 40 members Eva Marie Link's family gathered around “The Quill” at the John and Cindy Link’s home in Media, Illinois. Family members came from Illinois, Iowa, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio, Nebraska, Nevada, and Indiana to celebrate Eva's 95th birthday and her great granddaughter Ava Simpson's 15th birthday. While gathered, they also showed their families' support for Eva’s grandson Matthew Link, who is running for Henderson County Sheriff.
Family members have been encouraging Henderson County residents to support Matthew by voting for him in November.
