At their first home game at rural Biggsville, West Central Heat built a 28 to 0 lead early in the 2nd quarter of Saturday's clash with West Prairie-SE and cruised to their second win - a 62 to 20 victory.
The WC offense piled up 520 yards on the ground and 71 through the air with 51 of those air yards coming on a Mason Carnes (#8 Senior QB/DB) to Bryce Bigger (#3 Senior WR/DB) scoring pass.
West Central established their ground game early in the contest with four scores, two by Mason Carnes, and one each by Parker Meldrum (#35 Senior RB/DB) and Kaiden Droste (#12 Senior RB/DB).
West Prairie got their first score midway through the 2nd quarter to make the score 28 to 6 and on the WC first play after the kickoff, Carnes tossed a 51 yard bomb to Bigger. Droste scored two more times and Meldrum chipped in with another and West Central finished the half leading by 56 to 12!
Gage Stimpson (#7 Soph QB/DB) added a 4th quarter score and WC finished the day with a 62 to 20 win to improve their record to 2 wins and no losses.
Also Makhail West, Brody Link, Mason Carnes, & Isiah Stephson reeked constant havoc & had a great game on defense.
