After Alexa Berlett, of La Harpe, won the Junior Dragster Track Championship at Central Illinois Dragway in Havana, Illinois, she was qualified for the IHRA World Finals Championship Race. Racers from all over the US and Canada that won their Track Championship or Team Finals came to compete at the World Finals in Holly Springs, Mississippi on October 12th-16th. The Berletts said, "We had a week full of racing and good fun. Even though she didn’t win this race, we had a great experience. Way to go Alexa for all your accomplishments this year!!!" Alexa is holding The Quill, standing with her parents, Seth and April Berlett of La Harpe.
