Monday Eve Will Help Benefit FOCC
The four churches of Stronghurst have joined together to host a Community Thanksgiving Service Monday, November 21st at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of Stronghurst. It is open to all who are thankful for the many blessings they've received in the past year.
Members from the Bethel Lutheran Church, the Stronghurst Christian Church, the United Methodist Church and the Presbyterian Church will be conducting various parts of the service.
Offering from the service will be going to Family Outreach Community Center. Instead of cash, they are asking that your offering be needed supplies which are not available from Great River Food Pantry or the Food Pantry in Peoria. These would include paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish washing detergent, laundry detergents, personal hygiene products, sanitary wipes, etc.
Come join us in helping others who are in need, and in giving thanks to God for all the blessings he has given us in our community.
