Quilt of Valor Presented to WWII Veteran, Ralph Tatge

On Tuesday, November 1st, Quilts of Valor members, Peggy Chockley and Angela Myers from the Hancock-Henderson organization presented a Quilts of Valor quilt to Ralph Tatge of Stronghurst at his home, with his wife, Darlene and several members of his family present.

Ralph served in the army between 1944-1946 under General George Patton in Germany. He took his basic training at Ft. Knox.

A Quilt of Valor quilt is a comfort quilt presented to those who have served in the military of the United States to honor the veterans for their service.

These men and women valiantly served to protect our country and keep America’s freedom safe.
