The La Harpe 7th grade Eagles began the tournament in Avon October 27 - 5:30 pm against the A-Town Tornadoes and were able to pull out the win 10-6 to advance to the semi finals in La Harpe.
Kaydnce Maynard led the Eagles with 5 points and Mya Torrence had 4 points.
In the semi finals they faced the West Central Heat and once again they got the victory to advance to the championship game.
The Eagles were led in scoring by Mya Torrence with 9 points, Mackenzie Smith with 8, and Kaydnce Maynard with 7.
In the Championship game the Eagles would face the North Fulton Wildcats and after a slow start they led 4-2 after the 1st quarter. Both teams seemed to awaken in the 2nd quarter and at half time the Eagles had a lead of 13-10. The Eagles came out the 2nd half and played inspired defense led by Kaydnce Maynard with 10 steals and they got the win 28-18 to secure the championship. The Eagles were led in scoring for the tournament by Mya Torrence with 21 points and Kaydnce Maynard with 40 steals. "Congratulations to the 7th grade La Harpe Eagles!"
