Hello Folks!

Mothers Day was an unusual Sunday. Clara Spindle, who lives down the street decided she needed the day off and sent her six kids to my house. I did watch those kids once and I was so exhausted I kind of realize she needs a day off. So when she called I made the mistake of saying yes! Well, the little dickens decided since I didn't have kids they were going to make me an honorary "Mom for the day." They got out all my flour, eggs, sugar, what have you, and decided to bake me a cake. I told them my favorite was carrot cake. Well, that was a mistake! They put big chunks of carrots all through my cake that made it taste..... well, it just tasted awful! And you should have seen my kitchen!!! The little stooges meant well, and said they'd clean it up. After they left, I had to clean up their clean up, and I gave the cake a toss.

Hope all you moms had a day off. You deserve it!

Good Day!
