The Quill traveled to the graduation of Shafer McKune on March 11th. Shafer McKune of Freeburg, IL graduated Friday, March 11th at 11 a.m in Springfield.
He was the class president of the Cadet Class 134 for the Illinois State Police from December 12, 2021 to March 11, 2022. Shafer is now an Illinois State Trooper. Shafers had 10 members at the graduation. His grandmother, Jean Crotts of Stronghurst and his father, Daniel McKune of Oquawka are pictured.
