Raritan Fire Raises $8500 for Wounded Warriors Family Support

Blandinsville - Thanks to the Raritan Fire Dept. and participants of a successful golfing, June 18th was a great day with overwhelming results in aid for veterans who have had a difficult life after returning home from service to America.

Raritan Fire Department's 3rd Annual Golf Tournament raised more money than ever before and will benefit Wounded Warriors Family Support The first benefit golf tournament was held in 2019 and raised $5000, the second in 2021, raised $6000, and this year's 3rd raised $8500!

"We wanted to share the results with the community and to thank everyone for a successful tournament," said Earl Waller and Harry Underwood the co-chairmen of the golf tournaments. "It all goes for a great cause. Wounded Warriors Family Support provides support to the families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed during combat operations."

Out of 17 teams participating in the 3rd Annual Raritan Fire Dept. Golf Tournament, First place was Jim Fisher's teams!

3rd Annual Raritan Fire Dept. Golf Tournament second place went to Tyler Walker's teams.

3rd Annual Raritan Fire Dept. Golf Tournament third place went to Phil Swanson's team.

3rd Annual Raritan Fire Dept. Golf Tournament 4th place went to Bob "Buck" Frank's team taking fourth place.
