Dues are $20 per year.

Anyone wanting to donate items can do so at any time. Donations can be dropped off at Bob’s TV in Stronghurst during normal business hours.

There are plans for a breakfast to be served at the rummage sale, with more details to follow.

The committee discussed other topics such as the scavenger hunt returning, expanding the walk to more businesses in town, and bringing back carolers to the event.

If you would like to be part of the Christmas Walk Committee, please reach out to Amanda.

New Business:

Fundraiser idea:

Christine presented the idea of selling “local” t-shirts and possibly shopping totes in an online sale and at events. She will look into designs and prices for the next meeting.

Lori has several totes that say “small town gal” on them that she is willing to donate.

Family friendly events: Amanda presented an idea of offering free family friendly events to the community this year. Ideas include movie in the park, bingo, touch a truck event, yoga in the park. The goal would be one event per month possibly starting in April.

Other ideas:

Bringing a farmers market and/or farm to table dinner to Stronghurst. There was a discussion on how to bring in vendors and people to make this a successful event.

The meeting adjourned at 5:27 p.m. with the next meeting scheduled for Monday, March 14th 4:30 p.m. at the Legion.
