For those of you who may not know us, let me introduce ourselves. We are a Husband and Wife Team that have been Together for 18 Years, Married 11. Shawn has a Full Time job in the Construction Field as well as Owning his own Lawn Care and Snow Removal Business. I (Tianna) currently work in the Office of a Local Construction Company. We have two boys Haydyn, 11 and Graysyn, 8. Our Oldest, Haydyn races Go-Karts and has been chasing those dreams since the ripe young age 5. Graysyn, our youngest, has zero interest in ever racing a kart or car, but will be a famous Flagman someday. We are almost sure of that. You can find us at a local Dirt Track on the Weekends or we like to take Small Trips and show the Boys a teeny tiny bit of this Big ol’ World. Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamed of owning my own Coffee Shop/Bakery one day. Like the typical person, I graduated high school, went on to college and continued living life, with a little sliver of hope left that I would someday fulfill my dreams. As with most relationships and marriages, Shawn and I found ourselves in the midst of our biggest struggle. After a few months of knowing, not knowing and then knowing again, we agreed on making the rest of our lives the best of our lives. And the grind was on. We have worked tirelessly for the past year on gutting this building and pretty much starting from the ground up. We have spent so many hours working well into the early mornings building our dream. My Dream. Soon, the Muddy Cup Coffee Co. would form, and we are ready to serve our local friends, family and customers as well as meet new people, make new friends and serve more customers. More than anything we want every single person who walks through our door at the Muddy Cup to know One thing: This little dream of mine is “Where Everyone Has A Seat At Our Table”.
The Muddy Cup Coffee Co. Is located at 406 Schuyler Street, Oquawka, IL.
We are having a soft opening on Thursday, February 10th from 3-8pm and will officially be open for business Friday, February 11th from 6am-6pm. Saturday the 12th we will be open normal business hours of 6am-1 pm. Sunday we will be open 7am-10am.
Normal Business Hours will be Monday-Saturday 6am-1pm and Sundays from 7am-10am.
Our Drive-thru will be ready to operate in a few weeks.
