Stronghurst Booster Club Plans For The Coming Year

The Stronghurst Booster Club met on December 12th and set dates for the upcoming events in 2023 including...

Community potluck at the Legion:

January 27th, at 5:30 p.m. The Booster Club will provide drinks and paper products. Participants may bring their favorite family dish to share. There will be some sort of entertainment as well.

Bingo night

March 10th, at the legion. Doors open at 5:30 and the game begins at 6.

Christmas in July Rummage Sale

July 15th at the Stronghurst American Legion.

Christmas Open House

Friday, November 17th.

Committee meeting

January 9th at 5 p.m. to be held directly after the regular monthly meeting.

In other business:

• A discussion took place and plans made to approach the Senior Citizens about helping to organize their storage area in the back of the building and with their approval they will move forward.
• Held a discussion about having the Boy Scouts help pick up the Christmas Decorations.
• In other business the members approved…
• the purchase of a $50 gift card from Fishers for Mr. and Mrs. Crotts for their wonderful role of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Open House to be made from the Christmas account.
• giving the leftover candy from Christmas Bingo to Oak Wood Assisted Living,

paying $500 to the Stronghurst American Legion for use of the building for various meetings and events. Also a proposal to clean the kitchen and building. The Booster Club very much appreciates the Legion for use of their building!

The meetiing was adjourned at 5:30 p.m..
