Terre Haute Methodist Church New Marquee and Refurbished Bell Displays Upcoming Events

Terre Haute United Methodist Church Welcomes folks to their Sunday Worship at 8:30 a.m. and to Thursday's annual FISH FRY this Thursday, August 4th at 5 p.m. after Covid had interrupted their annual event that gathers friends around the community from far and near. James Mohr and his sister Annetta Ziegler stand with the newly erected marquee and bell in memory of their parents, the late Lowell and Jane Mohr.

On Monday, August 1st, the church bell from the old Terre Haute United Methodist Church, erected in 1892, was placed at the newly built church, along with a new marquee. The marquee was put into place the end of July.

The bell was refurbished to it’s shiny new state by the same company from which it was purchased all those years ago.

All of this was made possible from a memorial fund established for the late Lowell and Jane Mohr.
