West Central Middle School Softball Team took "The Quill" to Lincoln, Illinois on Saturday, August 21st. The Heat played three games and ended the day with a 2-1 record. First the girls faced Lincoln Junior High. In 7 innings the girls put up 6 runs to Lincoln's 2 runs. Next the Heat played the Brimfield Indians. It was a close game, Brimfield scored 2 runs and the Heat scored 1 run. The final game of the day was against Jacksonville. West Central shut-out Jacksonville 8-0!

7th graders: Addy Burrell, Alex Bell-Canfield, Payton Eisnnicher, Rebecca Hinshaw, Payton Link, Kaylee Mills, Miley Stimpson;
6th graders: Jenna Bewley, Brooklyn Eisnnicher, Rylie Ferguson, Lillian Higgins, Lia Klossing and KayleeAnn Tomson.
The girls are 13-3 in regular season play. West Central is seeded 1st in their Regional and will play in the second round on Saturday, September 11th at 11am in Stronghurst.
