Board Sets Sunday Oct. 31st as Trick or Treat Night

By: Shirley Linder, Quill Editor

The Village of Stronghurst Board met on Monday, October 4th and set Sunday, October 31st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. as Trick or Treat night.

Dominic Del Carlos was present to discuss the row of shrubs he had recently planted. He apologized for not knowing there was an ordinance prohibiting planting on the village right away. After a discussion by the trustees they agreed the shrubs would have to be removed from the right of way and transplanted.

The new zoning map was presented by Doug Erickson showing all the parcels within the boundary of the district. He will print a 20 x 24 map that will hang on the wall at city hall to replace the old one.
