The Stronghurst Booster Club added a Christmas Ornament/Wreath Scavenger Hunt to this year's Annual Christmas Walk.
Each participating business was given a wire wreath and a special ornament that they had to use in their wreath.
The goal behind the scavenger hunt was to get people to visit each of our local businesses.
There were a total of 20 wreaths decorated with 21 unique ornaments to be found by the hunters. Some businesses that are not located on Broadway Street sat up tables with their wreaths at other locations on Broadway while others decorated wreaths that were displayed by the Booster Club.
At the end of the night participants put their scavenger hunt cards in the entry bags placed at the local businesses and a winner was drawn from those cards.
Our prize was a basket put together of generously donated items from our businesses in Stronghurst with hopes to showcase the things our community has to offer.
It appeared that families and children really enjoyed the addition of the scavenger hunt this year.
The winner was Liam Smith.
